Madrid Encounter

	Faith and Life News | Catholic Diocese of Wollongong World Youth Day @ Home   While some people are soon to jet off to celebrate World Youth Day in Madrid, there are many more who have not been able (for a variety of reasons) to pack their bags and head to Spain, so we've planned to bring some of the flavour and excitement of World Youth Day to them. On Saturday, August 20 the Diocese of Wollongong, in association with the Wollongong Youth Mission Team and the Verbum Dei Missionaries, will be presenting 'Madrid Encounter', a day-long event filled to the brim with all the things that make World Youth Day the amazing event it is, including Catechesis with Sr Hilda Scott OSB, a dramatic Way of the Cross, Reconciliation, a Spanish Fiesta, Mass followed by a Youth Festival. We also hope to get some live updates from our pilgrims direct from Madrid, Spain. All this for the bargain price of $10, which includes all meals.
